The Highest Mountain in the UK is Ben Nevis, it stands near Fort William on the west coast of Scotland. The mountain stands at 1,344 metres (4,409 ft) high. Visitors are free to climb the mountain and take in the view from the top. There are camping facilities in fort William along with shops and supermarkets.
Every year there is a race to the top of ben nevis. This has been on going for a long time.
